This policy explains how Luo Liqiang, the individual operator of LedgerChase Assist, processes personal data. Privacy questions may be sent to [email protected]; legal notices may be sent to [email protected].
Data we process and why
- Account and profile: email, name, company, country, locale, authentication and public-beta entitlement state—to create and secure accounts and deliver the service.
- Customer and financial workflow data: customer contact details, transaction dates, vendors, descriptions, categories, amounts, missing-item results and review notes—to perform the analysis and document-follow-up workflow requested by the user.
- Files and generated reports: uploaded spreadsheets and supporting documents, file metadata, hashes and exports—to process the requested job, prevent malware and provide reports.
- Security and operations: IP/device data, login sessions, audit trails, server logs, rate-limit records and error diagnostics—to prevent abuse, investigate incidents and maintain reliability.
- Support: support messages and attachment metadata—to answer requests and resolve service problems.
- Preferences and legal records: document versions accepted, time, irreversible IP hash, marketing choice and privacy requests—to prove choices and honor rights.
Legal bases
Depending on location and context, processing is based on contract performance, legitimate interests in security and service operation, legal obligations, or consent. Marketing and legally required cross-border consent are separated from core service choices. Consent may be withdrawn prospectively.
Sensitive and third-party data
Financial records may contain sensitive or confidential information. Users must have lawful authority to upload it, minimize unnecessary fields and inform affected people. We process customer data on the user's instructions; the user normally acts as controller/business and LedgerChase as processor/service provider.
Storage, international transfers and access
Enabled external service providers and their configured processing locations are disclosed on the third-party services and data processing page. We do not publish an unverified provider or location. Where data is processed across borders, we use safeguards required for the applicable processing and provide further business terms in the business data processing agreement.
Retention
Report retention follows the user's selected period where available. Active account data is kept while needed to deliver the service; security and legal records may be kept longer for fraud prevention, incident response or legal claims. Backups expire on a controlled rotation and are not restored for ordinary use after deletion. Exact operational targets are in the Data Retention Policy.
Sharing
We disclose data only to external services shown on the current third-party services and data processing page; authorized team members; advisers or authorities where legally required; and a successor in a properly protected business transfer. We do not sell personal data.
Rights and complaints
Subject to applicable law, people may request access, correction, export, deletion, restriction, objection or withdrawal of consent. Account holders can use the Privacy Center; others may email [email protected]. We may verify identity and preserve data we must legally retain. You may complain to an applicable supervisory authority.
Cookies and security
Essential browser storage supports authentication, language, security and public-beta interface state. Optional analytics are disabled unless disclosed and consented to. See the Cookie Notice. Security controls are summarized at Security; no system can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
Changes
Material changes receive a new version and may require renewed acceptance. The service will not silently treat continued use as consent where affirmative consent is legally required.
